Then most likely he will if thats the case. I really havent followed the Vick thing to closely as I am not a fan of his nor have I ever been. Really dont care..LOL! Quarterback he isnt or never will be, but a slash...Well that he is completely!

If Vick shows all his remorse like I guess he has been doing than the NFL will definitely make him a poster child and put him out there for the world to see. I agree then, he will be playing early.

It has never been said Vick will play by week 6. What was actually said is that the commish will make a decision by week 6 of when he will be allowed to play. He could come out and say that he can't play until the playoffs, but as long as he announces it by week 6, it falls into his guidelines. I think if he keeps clean he could be on the field by week 3. I'm a huge Eagles fan, and while the move surprised me, I'm glad a team had the balls to give him a chance. I was hoping it would be the Eagles too. And all Philly fans aren't idiots...we are some of the only true fans who are passionate about our teams. Real fans get critical when their team loses.

You are right cola, not ALL eagles fans are idiots.....But I wills ay Eagles fans definitely get critical of their team when they lose. Booing McNabb and asking him to be traded, etc. Come on now..LOL! Hell booing McNabb when he was drafted was insane. He has carried that team with Westbrook and the defense.

Lol, yeah, I'd say maybe Lions or Bengals fans are idiots, christ why do we still root for those teams?!?  Eagles fans are passionate, and pretty harsh, and I'm sure there's a few, um, overzealous ones like anywhere, but at least they picked a good team. ;)

Philly fans are the worst in the league, how can you boo your #1 starter when your backups are not even half as good. I have never seen Favre get boo'ed while he was in greenbay when he throw a INT to lose the game.

I have never seen Peyton or Brees get boo'ed by their home crowd... They dont respect their players... I wish McNabb demanded a trade and stuck with it and not put up with the bullsh*t in philly.

I would love to see how the philly fans would react if mcnabb left and they got stuck with someone like Delhomme or Anderson, of course I am not talking about the whole philly population that follows their team. But when I heard them boo mcnabb, it sure sounded like 90% of the stadium.

I will agree with 2 things. I do not meanto lump ALL Eagles fans into one group. Not all are bad, but a majority are idiots more than any other team. This goes for ALL the Philly based teams. Eagles fans may be passionate but they go to extremes to make their passion know. Throwing ice balls and snow balls at Santa, booing McNabb, burning lawns of players, etc.... Come on now. When you are at a game in Philly, you can get beat up in the bathroom for wearing an opposing jersey. Sorry, that does nto happen quite as often at other stadiums. Sure you have radicals everywhere, but Philly is the extreme. THEY ARE IDIOTS!!! They being a general term.

Hell I saw them dump beer on a  7 year old's head because he was wearing an opposing jersey. I am sorry, but that is just plain stupid!!! I dont care if someone is an eagle fan or not...They shoudl never condone that. And as I said, its more prevelant in Philly than any other professional sports town in the USA! MOST, and I say most Eagles fans do not respect opposing fans. That is the plain truth and Eagles fans can dispute it all they want. But when professional broadcasting networks recognize the fact that Eagles fans can be iditos along with the general NFL fanbase, that is saying something. Sorry Phantom, you may be a good Eagles fans, but most of your peers are not.

I'm willing to agree and I'm not going to argue here, because it's useless.  Couple questions for you (and I'm not trying to say you're wrong or anything):
- How many Philadelphia sporting events have you attended?
- So when other fanbases do that kind of stuff it's nowhere near as bad as Eagle fans?  Honestly I have seen this happen before with other teams.  I've seen a lot of bad Steelers fans, but heck, it's probably the areas I've traveled in.  On the other side of that, I've seen a lot of really great Steelers fans.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from, because I always used to get pissed when people would lump me, my family and friends in with "the worst fanbase in all of sports" when we try to hold ourselves among the best of sports with respect.  Yes, the Broncos are my number one NFL team, but I still root for the Eagles and outside that I'm a Philly sports fan the rest of the way (except..uh...basketball?  do I even have a team there?  haha).  I know tons of Philly fans that are passionate, tons more passionate than other fans I've seen on other teams...I guess with that can come the immaturity and the like.  So I won't say it hasn't happened, because Philly fans have done stupid things.  Still though, I have seen A LOT of stupid things done elsewhere.  What about the Browns' fans throwing bottles?!?!?  I've seen some bad Penn State fans as well, real bad...and they were Steelers fans!  Again, you may be right, but I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

There is no doubt that Vick is good at what he does and its great that he has paid for his crime and some have forgiven and in perfect world he will never have to be condemned again but this is not a perfect world and people are not so forgiving when we as average Joes would still be paying for this crime. I'm thinking that is what people are more upset about. I mean think about it...Chris Henry from the Bengals or how about my boys The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the cross-hairs again after pictures surfaced of 14 players horsing around with guns — and pointing them at each.

Phantom, I am not saying other team fanbases dont do some stupid crap but when you come to percentage numbers, Philly fans do it more and in much larger numbers. I have been to probably over 100 events in my lifetime. That includes all the major sports and even the Arena league. And it just amazes me to the ignorance that is dsiplayed by a huge number of Philly fans compared to other markets. I have attneded games in many different arenas for many different sports and its nothing like Philly. Call it passion, call it ignorance....Whatever you want to call it, it gets out of hand in Philly especially on a losing day or season. Again, I am not saying that other markets dont have issues, it just comes to surface more in Philly.

As mentioned, not only does Philly have a jail, but a full recognized court house at their sporting facility. Honestly, what does that tell you. No other team has that.

I just dont get it. Per the example I gave about the poor kid with beer dumped on his head as he walked into the Vet......The Dad was an Eagles fan and had it out with the drunks...Fists flying..... I was ready to jump right in with him because that is pure idiocy. I guess my bottom line is that you see this more often in Philly then any other place. Its just sad. No its nto all fans, but its alot.
