Mafia II (7/20/2010) - Rick Wallace
On Thursday, July 15, 2010 2K invited us to San Francisco to get some hands on time with Mafia II. The event was held at the Mezzanine SF Nightclub located in downtown San Francisco. I am a sucker for offroad games whether its MX, buggies or ATV’s. So when I visited SouthPeak’s booth at E3 to get hands on time with the new offroad title “nail’d” I was very excited. This new ATV racer brought to us by Deep Silver and Techland is a fast paced action thrill ride. The game is all about speed folks and honestly at times I couldn’t even keep up with it. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 (6/30/2010) - Rick Wallace
While visiting the Ubisoft Booth at E3 this year we got to see many of the great titles that Ubisoft has on tap for us including the newest addition to the Tom Clancy Series, HAWX 2. As you remember, the original HAWX was the first Tom Clancy title to take to the skies in modern day aerial warfare. Well, now the second title is coming and it looks fantastic in every way possible.

Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos (6/24/2010) - Rick Wallace
A few years ago, Captain Sig Hansen and Greenwave games brought a whole new strategy game to the Xbox 360 with Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm. The game suffered from a few issues but even more so it just didn’t have the stuff to attract the general Xbox Live community. Sure it had online play and for those that were really into the show and strategy games it really was a lot of fun. But for the casual players out there the game just did not appeal.

Power Gig: Rise of the Six String (6/24/2010) - Rick Wallace
One of my first appointments at E3 was sitting down with the folks at Seven45 Studios and trying out their brand new game Power Gig: Rise of the Six String. Power Gig is another music game similar to Rock Band and Guitar Hero but with some major differences. The game introduces us to brand new instruments which includes a guitar controller that also moonlights as a real guitar when connected to an amp. Yoostar 2 (6/21/2010) - Rick Wallace
This past week at E3 we had the pleasure of attending a behind closed doors session with the folks of Yoostar Entertainment Group. The first edition of Yoostar is strictly a PC title in which you had to purchase the Yoostar system and then purchase new scenes via digital download from Yoostar.com. The Yoostar system included 20 scenes, a studio grade web cam, portable green screen and stand, and a remote control.

RPG’s are really popular right now on the Xbox 360 and we have our fair share of good and bad titles. A few years ago, Two Worlds made an appearance on the Xbox 360 and had the potential to be one of the great titles available.
