ESPN has lifted the lid on what may be the most exciting new feature to hit the Tiger Woods franchise on consoles in years. In addition to the daily tournaments that the game has always featured, there will now be weekly ones, and four round matches, all of which can be played at any level from Rookie to Tour Pro. But the clincher will be the live tournament matchups against the real PGA Tour events going on.
When the pros are playing the US Open this June, you'll be able to play right along with them round for round, in the same conditions. And for you Tour Pro purists, note that as planned this mode will only be able to be played in that mode. It's designed to exactly duplicate (as best as can be done with a controller) the skills and conditions on tour.
